During the year under report, passing out of PSIs and prob. Dy. SsP batch 2011 were held on 9th January, 2012 and 14th June, 2012 respectively. The Hon'ble Chief Minister, Jenab Omar Abdullah took the salute on both the occasion.
Dr. S.P Vaid IPS, ADGP Head quarters PHQ accompanied with staff of PHQ, convened a meeting at SKPA Udhampur on 20-01-2012 to assess the requirement of SKPAU and later ADGP Hqrs interacted with Prob. Dy. SsP batch 2011.
Interaction programs of Prob. Dy. SsP, with Sh. Kuldeep Khoda, IPS then DGP J&K, Smt. D.R. Doley IPS, ADGP Sh. K. Rajindera Kumar IPS, ADGP (Armed)/Law and order, Sh. Dilbag Singh IPS, IGP Jammu Zone, Sh. G.A Dar DIG Admn. PHQ, Sh. H.K Lohia, IPS IGP were organized at SKPA Udhampur to boost the morale of the Probationers.
National level courses sponsored by BPR&D MH New Delhi including 06 days Vertical Interaction Course (from 05th of Nov. 2012 to 11th of Nov. 2012) for IPS / Sr. officers of the country viz. SP to ADGP were held at SKPA Udhampur, Dr. S. S Boleria , Vice Chancellor Central University Jammu inaugurated the course.
The first ever inter-house T- 20 Cricket Tournament was also organized at SKPA Udhampur. Besides 03 days training programmers for KAS trainees officers was organized at SKPA Udhampur to familiarize them with the basics of policing.
