01 day workshop on “Investigation of Terror related cases” and 02 days Seminar on “Community Policing” concluded today at SKPA.

One day workshop on, “Investigation of Terror related cases” by NIA concluded today at S.K Police Academy Udhampur. Apart from this 02 days Seminar on “Community Policing” which commenced in the Academy w.e.f 27.04.2022 also concluded.

One day workshop by NIA was organized to sensitize police officers of J&K police on investigation of terror related cases. Whereas 02 days seminar on “Community Policing” was organized to sensitize police officers in enforcement of fundamental rights, prevention and detection of crime and to safe guard the life and property of the people. 62 officers from various organizations of J&K Police and J&K Prosecution department participated to hone up their skills.

A valedictory function was organized in the Academy. While speaking on the occasion Sh. Sunmati Gupta, Dy.SP, Asstt. Director (Q) SKPA, Udhampur laid emphasis on the new learning in the field of investigation to serve the society and country in a better possible manner. While speaking on community policing he laid stress to develop good relationship between Police and Public to ensure confidence building and take all necessary actions to fill the trust gap between Police and Public as it is the primary duty of Police organization to work for the betterment of community.

Sh. Vipin Kalra, PP NIA BO Jammu and Sh. Rakesh Kumar Panday, DySP NIA BO Jammu were the faculty members from NIA Branch office Jammu who shared their vast experience in handling the cases related to terror.
