In the Seminar (21) officers from various organisations of J&K Police participated. On the inaugural function Dr. Vinod Kumar IPS, SSP Udhampur was the Chief Guest. Sh. Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP Dy. Director (Indoor/Trg) welcomed the Chief Guest on behalf of Director SKPA Udhampur. While speaking on the occasion Dr. Vinod Kumar reiterated that Police has been assigned with the responsibilities of the maintenance of law and order, enforcement of fundamental rights, prevention and detection of crime and to safe guard the life and property of the people. He laid emphasis on the discharge of assigned duties with utmost dedication and professionalism. The first and foremost duty of a police officer is to serve the society and country in a better possible manner while remaining continuously in contact with the public, so it is the primary duty of police organisation to work for the betterment of community.The course is being coordinated by Sh.
