Valediction of 05 Days Course on "Cyber Crime" held at SKPA on 23-04-2022.
Udhampur, 23rd April 2022:
05 days course on, “Cyber Crime” for the officers of J&K Police which commenced on 19th of April, 2022 culminated today at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur. 11 Police officers from all over the UT J&K participated in the training programme. Eminent guest faculty from Academia, CID Hqrs J&K, Cyber Police Station Jammu etc. delivered lectures to the participants on the different related topics. In addition, the faculty of the Academy also shared their experience on the topics, ‘Cyber Awareness and incident response, collection and preservation of electronic data, information gathering via IP address etc. In the valedictory address Sh. Sunmati Gupta, Asstt. Director (Q) SKPA, Udhampur reiterated that the rapid growing challenges of Cyber Crime causes immeasurable loss to the state exchequer. Shri Gupta laid emphasis that the police should be skilled with handling investigation of Cyber Crime cases, legal provisions and other issues related to Cyber Crime. He also laid stress on the participating officers to share knowledge gained during the training programme with the fellow policemen to make society feel safe and dignified.
The valedictory function was also attended by Sh. Ramesh Chander, Dy.SP Pvt. Secy. to the Director SKPA. The course was coordinated by Inspr. Rohit Gupta and Inspr. Dheeraj Thakur member faculty.
