| Tuesday, April 19, 2022 | | 05 days course on “Cyber Crime” commenced in the Academy on 19-04-2022. |  | | Udhampur, 19th of April, 2022 Today 05 days course on, “Cyber Crime” commenced in the Academy. Eleven officers of J&K Police of the rank Sub Inspector to Inspector participated in the training programme. The course was formally inaugurated by Sh. Sunmati Gupta, Dy.SP, Asstt. Director (Q) Sher- i- Kashmir Police Academy. Speaking on the occasion Shri Gupta laid emphasis on the threats of cyber crime- its magnitude and potential to cause losses. Rapidly growing cyber crime causes immeasurable loss to state exchequer. He reiterated that the Police should be skilled with handling investigation of cyber crime cases, legal provisions and other issues related to cyber crime. While interacting with the participants he informed them that renowned speakers from the Academia have been arranged for effective deliberations on the different topics related to cyber crime. The inaugural session was attended by Sh. Ramesh Chander DySP(S) Pvt. Secy. to Director, Inspector Chander Mohan of the Academy. The course is being coordinated by Inspector Rohit Gupta and Inspector Dheeraj Thakur. |
